Dr. Dan Bills is an avid (yet barely competent) golfer, an amateur BBQ aficionado, a loving husband to his wife Emily, and a loving father to his daughter Caroline.
He is also a Board Certified Orthodontist, a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Harvard University honors graduate who believes smiles can actually change lives.
He is a South Jersey native and spent the early years of his life in Gloucester Township, just a few miles from where Innovative Orthodontics was started.
Dr. Bills is proud of his longstanding ties to this area. His father taught English at Clearview Regional High School for 40 years, and his mother taught elementary school in West Deptford for 25 years.

Dr. Bills Is Board Certified and Is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Bills is a graduate of Lenape High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Lafayette College, where he graduated with honors. He then obtained his dental degree with honors from Harvard University. Subsequently, Dr. Bills headed to the University of Illinois, where he completed a three-year orthodontic residency. Dr. Bills is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Bills’ involvement in the profession is extensive. He has held several local and national positions in the American Dental Association, and he is a Past-President of the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey. In addition, Dr. Bills is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists and the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics.
Dr. Bills is also extremely committed to scholarly activity. He is on the Orthodontic Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and is on staff in the Department of Dentistry at Virtua Hospital, and he has been honored as “Teacher of the Year” at both of these prestigious institutions. He is a published author and lectures regularly, both stateside and abroad, about a variety of clinical topics as well as how to utilize technology better to connect with orthodontic and dental patients.
