HELPING KIDS IMPROVE THEIR SPEECH AND THEIR LIVES!

This event benefits Small Steps in Speech, a nonprofit organization that provides grants for children with speech and language disorders. The grants help families pay for therapies, treatments, communicative devices, and other services for the children to help improve their communication skills.

The organization was created in memory of Staff Sgt. Marc J. Small, a Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha team medical sergeant assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group Airborne. Sgt. Small died during combat in Afghanistan in 2009. His legacy lives on through the many lives touched by Small Steps in Speech, and it’s an honor to support such an incredible group.
